Dirty Old Bar

Now that I'm here, I may as well stay
The lighting is dim, but I like it that way
All the money I have, wont get me that far
But it might by another drink in this dirty old bar

Why am I singing, long after the song
Has faded to silence, I know when I'm wrong
If when I'm leaving I break down neath the stars
You can drink to my memory in a dirty old bar

If all I had wont come to me and can't ever be set free
I felt it once inside of me but now all that I can see
Are visions of this dirty old bar

Success don't mean nothing, I throw my money away
I can't imagine the future, there's too much in the way
I don't want to be a stranger, I know who you are
The rain hits the window of this dirty old bar

When you wake up, to the autumn at dawn
If your loves not been stolen, then I wasn't wrong
The light hears too bright, you can never see the stars
All you see is you reflection, in this dirty old bar

If all I had wont come to me and can't ever be set free
I felt it once inside of me but now all that I can see
Are visions of this dirty old bar

The floor where I'm lying, is where I once stood
I'd be standing beside you if only I could
When we're apart, like some lovers are
I'll be sitting by the window of this dirty old bar

The cold light of morning, the wind in my eyes
The sun in the shadows of a pale lifeless sky
If everything is different, if we're not who we are
You'll find me sitting by the window of this dirty old bar.

If all I had wont come to me and can't ever be set free
I felt it once inside of me but now all that I can see
Are visions of this dirty old bar
