I Know That I'll Have Nightmares

Well I'm lying beneath this table with a empty bottle in my hand
I want to try and find you but I can hardly stand.
The music that is playing in the corner soft and low
makes me wish that I was sober, or had somewhere else to go.

I want to stay awake, to watch this new day rise
But I know that I'll have nightmares every time I close my eyes.

I got a pain in my foot from walking, but I got nowhere else to be.
Sometimes I feel helpless, like a man who drowns at sea.

I want to stay awake, to watch this new day rise
But I know that I'll have nightmares every time I close my eyes.

I've got trembles and shakes and I'm lying on the floor.
I'm to hungry to care so I'll probably drink some more.

I want to stay awake, to watch this new day rise
But I know that I'll have nightmares every time I close my eyes.
