Top 5 Raindogs gigs 1. The Railway Inn, Winchester, Thursday 19th January '06 (Supporting Blackbud) Tyler Kyte joins Ryan, Alan and Philippe on stage at the Railway in front of a packed back room. Highlights in this show
included Tyler's expert harmonies on Nowhere to be Found and the large crowd becoming silent during Making You Happy. The show received a good review afterwards from local paper The Hampshire Chronicile. 2. The Soul Cellar, Southampton, Thursday 22nd September '05 (Headlining) Ryan, Alan, Mark, Pierre
and Philippe play Tamsin's 18th birthday show to a sold out Soul Cellar after a night of entertainment including Winchester acts Tzudo, Coffee, Juggla Hero's, Harry, Katy Hooper and Exeter based comedian Tom Deacon comparing the
proceedings and performing stand-up. Highlights included the inebriated crowd going mad to Down by the River and Back of the Old Hotel. 3. The Railway Inn, Winchester, Thursday 11th September '05 (Headlining) The full line up played a perfect set on the last Railway gig before
Ryan's 3 month expedition to Ireland. The band had just finished recording a 5-song E.P and the practice paid off. Highlights of this show where Dan Lloyd and Rob Curtis singing every word to Last Years Blues and Think About Me as
loudly as possible. Another packed Railway show also heard the new and improved version of I Know That I'll Have Nightmares for the first time. 4. Café Centro, Winchester, Saturday 24th September '05 (Only Act) Ryan, Alan, Mark and Philippe play a one off acoustic show downstairs in the
little café. The invited audience mainly consisting of teenage girls drank heavily and cheered loudly on the night before Ryan went to Dublin on a one way ticket. Highlights included I Haven't Fallen and Like A Rolling Stone. 5. The Notting Hill Arts Club, London, Thursday 28th February '06
(Supporting Four Day Hombre) Ryan and Alan take Americana to Notting Hill with the Raindogs first ever performance in London. The 200+ crowd were packed into the downstairs venue and saw the Raindogs play a 7 song set which
included a medley of I Haven't Fallen and Natalie. |
